The Maple Leaf has been used as a symbol of Canada as far back as the 18th century, and even before that, the aboriginal peoples of Canada were making sugar and syrup from the sap of the maple tree. The Maple Leaf flag was officially inaugurated in 1965 as Canada's National Flag.

33cm x 17cm. Made of neoprene, fire resistant, protection for hand from heat up to 400F.
