The Maple Leaf has been used as a symbol of Canada as far back as the 18th century, and even before that, the aboriginal peoples of Canada were making sugar and syrup from the sap of the maple tree. The Maple Leaf flag was officially inaugurated in 1965 as Canada's National Flag.

Ceramic tiles can be hung on the wall or used as a trivet, measuring 15cm x 15cm.
